Two hour session for £19.99---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The session involves a safety induction to explain the safety observance and rules and the layout of the field to include standard safety areas allocated.
There will be a short simple warm up which is encouraged in order to prepare the body for the physical movements and reduce the risk of injury.
Equipment will then be selected individually such as correct arrow length.
Then the Archery Leader will demonstrate the technique used to shoot, stance and overall safety considerations whilst on the shooting line.

You will be able to ask any questions during this time.
Then on a 1 - 1 basis you will be taught how to shoot.
You will be taught how to safely retrieve arrows from the target and the correct position to hold the arrows.
Towards the end of the session the participants will be encouraged to compete in a competition against each other and you will have a choice of which target face to use such as a dart face.
Let the contest begin between you, the equipment and the elements whilst competing against others on the shooting line!

About Archery
The type of Archery that I will be teaching you is 'Target Archery' which is recognised as the Olympic Sport today. It is one of the earliest forms of survival together with its military ancestry. Target Archery is a very competitive Sport that was introduced into the Olympics in 1972.
The Equipment
The equipment we will be using is a recurve style bow which is most accepted and has been renamed as the 'Olympic Style Bow'. The recurve bows are all in excellent condition and are the wooden type, which are comfortable to hold. Arrows have been selected as the Aluminium Alloy type that they are strong and more reliable and a safer form of arrows for beginners.
I supply all the safety equipment required such as an arm bracer and a tab if required. Beginners may find it easier to shoot without using a finger tab as it may be easier to release the string.
All equipment will have been safety checked prior to use.
